Pelini says MU here to stay
Nebraska Coach Bo Pelini admits he’s no history buff when it comes to his team’s century-long series with Missouri. Game Preview
The Missouri Tigers will have the national stage to themselves Thursday when they renew their rivalry with the Nebraska Cornhuskers in what promises to be a wild environment at Faurot Field. Both teams are ranked, with Missouri (4-0) re-entering the AP Poll at No. 24 and Nebraska (3-1) sitting at No. 21. The game could hinge on MU's ability to run and stop the run -- two areas of concern for the Tigers -- but Missouri has recent history on its side. The Tigers have beaten Nebraska three of the last four years and haven't lost at home to the Huskers since Gary Pinkel's first season in 2001.
