MU preps for rain, parking snags
Heavy thunderstorms are expected to add to the chaos of a rare Thursday night football game. Forecasts call for an 80 percent chance of rain and thunder tomorrow evening when the University of Missouri Tigers face Nebraska at Memorial Stadium. The game is being nationally televised on ESPN.

Strong second day has Tigers thinking big
Julia Potter began to grow restless. Gathered with her Missouri golf teammates outside the clubhouse at The Club at Old Hawthorne late yesterday afternoon, she watched as a club official filled in the large rectangular scoreboard. The final picture of the Johnie Imes Invitational, which brought 18 teams to Columbia’s home course, was slowly coming into focus.
